Sue was a committee member of Northwood Holocaust Memorial Day Events, the forerunner of Holocaust Learning UK, before becoming an HLUK trustee. Sue is passionate about the importance of young people learning about the Holocaust as part of our efforts to encourage tolerance, understanding and respect, and to build a better, safer, more humane and inclusive society for all.
Sue has been practising as a clinical psychologist for over 35 years, working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families.
As a trustee and committee member, Sue brings her knowledge of children’s and teenagers’ developmental and emotional needs to HLUK to help to create films that educate, connect and impact across our diverse student audiences in ways that are appropriate and sensitive to students’ ages, abilities, and emotional development.
Sue became the Chair of HLUK in June 2023.
