Judy Armitt has spent much of her life involved in working with charitable organisations in a wide variety of roles, and became involved with the organisation several years ago when she retired from full-time work.
Her professional background in human resource management, marketing and project management, as well as in the education of both young people and adults, helps her bring to Holocaust Learning UK a range of skills and knowledge appropriate for her role as a trustee, with responsibility for managing the processes for schools’ registration, responding to queries from schools, and helping to promote our work to a wide and diverse range of schools and colleges.
Her commitment to, and passion for, educating young people about the Holocaust stems from her own family history in Germany during World War II.
