Julian is a Chartered Accountant, with extensive experience of working in the education and charity sectors. Julian helped establish Holocaust Learning UK as an independent charity, and serves as Trustee and Treasurer. He has served on the Boards of a number of other charities including Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, where he was Treasurer and now serves on its Advisory Council; VTCT, a vocational awarding body which supports research into treatment for facial disfigurement where he was Vice Chairman; and Resource, the charity which helps unemployed members of the community back into the workplace, where he now sits on its Advisory Council.
Julian also sits on the board of local community charities and previously worked at City & Guilds, Lloyds Bank and PwC. Julian believes strongly in the importance of Holocaust education and the need to show where a lack of tolerance, respect and understanding of other people can lead.
