Lynda has been a supporter of Holocaust Memorial Day Event, as HLUK was previously known since the start of the event. Lynda became a facilitator ten years ago, then joined the team which trains the volunteer facilitators and has been involved in the writing of the workshop programme.
Lynda’s career was in education with responsibility for pastoral issues. She is a volunteer for Langdon Brady Club for young people with learning disabilities and has been involved in interfaith work in the community. Working with young people has led to a determination to ensure that students learn about the Holocaust and other genocides in order to encourage respect and tolerance and to understand the importance of building a better safer future.
