Rabbi Shaya Green was born in Liverpool. After finishing High School and spending a number of years learning in Yeshivot in the US, he settled back in the UK where he met his wife, Leah.
Rabbi Green, alongside his wife Leah and six children are currently serving as the Rabbinical couple to Northwood United Synagogue.
Rabbi Green is passionate about Holocaust education and believes it is essential for preventing future atrocities, promoting human rights, countering denial and understanding prejudice.
