[Narrator, archive and Survivor Testimony]
Peter was 5-years-old when he was transported to Bergen-Belsen with his mother. Conditions there were horrific. People were dying from starvation, brutalisation and lethal infectious diseases raged out of control. Peter, describes how people just died where they were. There was no question of going to hospital because there was no hospital. There was no question of getting medication because there were no medications. People just sometimes dropped dead where they were. Some committed suicide on the electric fencing. There was no escape.
